MLS statistics for Victoria, Oak Bay, Metchosin, North Saanich and Sidney underscore the desirability of these municipalities.  Property values are, for the most part, substantial and holding their value, even in today’s real estate market.

What does this mean for buyers?  Well, it means that the Greater Victoria area and especially these particular municipalities are considered great places to live.  For those who are thinking about moving to Victoria, purchasing property here is likely to prove a sound investment because of the popularity of living in Victoria.

It’s interesting to note that the urban areas of Victoria and Sidney are generally the most reasonably priced options among this set.  This information might come as a surprise to people who are moving to Victoria from another urban area, where city homes come at a premium.
